This candle holder has been carved from steatite, also known as soapstone, a material traditionally used in Indian craftsmanship due to its ease of shaping. The surface has been treated with a painted black finish.

The candle holder features a solid circular base, designed to hold a candle. It is complemented by a carved cylindrical screen that incorporates floral motifs. The carving allows the diffusion of candlelight, creating a particular ambiance.
