Rutilated quartz is a natural stone characterised by golden rutile inclusions that appear as fine threads inside the crystal. Other types of inclusions or internal variations may also be present.

Approximate measurements including the bail, depending on the size:

• Medium: 36 to 43 mm high × 18 to 24 mm wide, 8 to 11 mm thick
• Large: 42 to 48 mm high × 22 to 29 mm wide, 7 to 10 mm thick
• Extra large: 47 to 51 mm high × 23 to 27 mm wide, 8 to 10 mm thick

As handcrafted jewellery, slight asymmetries or irregularities typical of artisanal work may be present.
