Main features:
Celestite mineralogy:
Celestite, also known as celestine, is a strontium sulfate mineral that crystallizes in the orthorhombic system. It usually forms in nodules, geodes, and druses in sedimentary rocks. Its name comes from the Latin caelestis meaning celestial, in allusion to its coloration. They are usually found in pale blue tones, although they can also vary to white or even colorless. It is a relatively soft mineral with a hardness of 3 to 3.5 on the Mohs scale.
Energetic properties:
From a spiritual perspective, celestite is attributed with the ability to foster calm and mental clarity. This stone is believed to radiate serene energy that can facilitate meditation and promote communication with higher planes.
To consider:
Originally, each geode is protected with adhesive tape to keep the crystals together during transport. It is possible that when removing this protection, some crystals, small fragments or dust may detach, this is not considered a defect since celestite geodes are unstable by nature and sensitive to handling. It is recommended to treat them with care.
