These dendritic opal pyramids, also known as melinite, are characterised by their light-toned backgrounds —ranging from creamy white to soft grey— crossed by delicate dark dendritic patterns. Some pieces also feature natural cavities with internal crystals as well as translucent areas, enhancing their uniqueness.

They are handcrafted from natural stone, and may show slight asymmetries at the base or small imperfections typical of the material. The proportions between the base and height vary from piece to piece, even within the same base size. As such, two pyramids with the same base measurement may differ in height or the angle of their sides.
