Dendritic opal (merlinite) points with 8 sides

These dendritic opal points, also known as merlinite, have been carved in India into an octagonal shape. Their surface displays organic, branch-like patterns characteristic of this stone, reminiscent of plant forms or floating ink, in a range of white, grey and black tones with soft, diffused warm hues.

Two approximate size options are available:

• Small: pieces measuring between 6 cm and 8 cm in height.
• Medium: pieces ranging from 8 cm to 10 cm.

The base thickness generally varies between 1.5 cm and 3 cm, depending on the piece.

Some points may show visible cracks or dendritic inclusions typical of natural stone, as well as slight asymmetries, shape variations or details from the manual carving process — all of which should not be considered flaws.
