Natural mahogany obsidian:

Mahogany obsidian is a volcanic variety characterised by a dark base combined with reddish brown veining and areas of contrast. The beads show natural irregular patterns, giving each mala depth of colour and a robust, understated appearance.

Mala beads:

Mala beads traditionally consist of 108 beads, a number with symbolic meaning in various Eastern traditions, associated with the complete repetition of mantras during meditation. The guru bead marks the beginning and end of the cycle. The continuous format also allows the mala to be worn as a zen inspired necklace.

Please note:

Handcrafted piece made with natural stone. Variations in colour, veining and contrast between beads may occur, as well as slight differences in shape or calibration.
