Maifan stone, also known as Maifanite or Bakuhanseki, is a mineralised sedimentary rock composed of aluminosilicates, feldspar, quartz and other minerals. It forms through geological processes of accumulation and compaction, and is primarily found in Asia. It has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine for its association with beneficial health properties and is considered a magical stone.
