Violet agate geode with crystalline cavity

Unique piece of agate geode from Brazil with polished front and straight base for vertical display. It features artificially dyed violet bands, white crystallization, and a cavity with tiny crystals.

Main characteristics:

  • Mineral: Agate
  • Treatment: Artificially dyed violet band
  • Origin: Brazil
  • Finish: Polished front and natural back crust
  • Approximate measurements: 19 cm x 10 cm x 9 cm
  • Approximate weight: 4.1 kg
  • Sales format: Unique piece

Structure and characteristics of the piece:

This mineral specimen features a flat polished front that highlights the transition between its different formation stages. At the core, an internal cavity opens, covered by dark microcrystals, surrounded by a sinuous band of agate artificially dyed in intense violet. Towards the outside, a wide section of whitish crystallization with a compact appearance extends, which borders the natural rocky crust in a dark tone and rough texture.

Display and cut:

The geode has a straight sawn base that provides stability on flat surfaces, facilitating its vertical arrangement without requiring additional support elements. Its back contour maintains the original morphology of the rough rock from Brazil.

To consider:

Unique piece. The exact specimen shown in the images will be sent. The violet coloration of the internal band comes from an artificial dyeing process on the original mineral. Being a natural formation cut and polished, the specimen presents areas of rough matrix, variations in crystalline texture, and reliefs typical of its outer crust.
