These dendritic opal spheres, also known as melinite, stand out for their branching black patterns over backgrounds ranging from ivory white to translucent grey.
Some spheres may contain small natural craters with microcrystals, as well as surface cracks or irregularities, while others appear more uniform. The dendritic inclusions, resembling branches or moss, are typical of this type of opal and vary greatly from one sphere to another, making each piece unique.
The artisanal process may result in slight asymmetries or marks from manual polishing. These features enhance the distinctive character of each sphere.
Several approximate diameters are available to choose from, with prices corresponding to each size.
