This piece is an African amethyst sphere with about 15 cm in diameter and weighing approximately 5,580 kilos.

The African amethyst has very beautiful nuances and patterns which makes this sphere present natural drawings on its surface that resemble a mosaic. The presence of inclusions, fissures, crystallization cracks is natural to the stone itself.

It is a work of craftsmanship, carved by hand, therefore the measurements and symmetry of the spherical format are not exact.
