In this piece, beautiful transparent crystals of white apophyllite covering a basalt matrix can be observed. Also present in this mineral association are formations of orange stilbite.

It is a specimen of apophyllites from the Aurangabad district, India.

This apophyllite druse weighs approximately 2.8 kg and measures about 21 cm x 13 cm x 10 cm.

To keep the piece in an upright position, a back support is needed.
