Apophyllite druse on basalt

Basalt-based apophyllite druse from India.

It is a beautiful piece of natural basalt upholstered by apophyllite crystals with a possible association of chalcedony and zeolite.

The presence of apophyllite can be seen above all in the larger crystals, which are also doubly terminated.

This specimen is from India, more specifically from the Aurangabad district.

The dimensions of this druse are approximately 17.5 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm and with a weight close to 3.7 kilos.
