This symbol of more than 5500 years comes appearing in different cultures. For the Scandinavians it was a symbol of Odin, for the pre-Christian Celts represented the Triple Godness: the virgin, the mother and elderly, also the life, the death, and the renaissance and the three strengths of the nature: earth, air and water.
It also represents the celtic philosophy that the All has three levels: physicist, mental and spiritual.
With the arrival of the Christianity, this symbol was converted in a representation of the Blessed Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Saint Spirit.
Each one of its ovals is like another Christian symbol, the vesica piscis (fish).
