Decorative plates with authentic ammonites and orthoceras

These plates feature genuine fossil fragments of prehistoric marine organisms embedded in their surface.

They are made from black sedimentary rock, known as fossil marble, with visible fragments of elongated orthoceras and spiral-shaped ammonites.

In each piece, one ammonite fossil has been highlighted through the carving that surrounds it. This intervention is intended to emphasise the fossil, and although none of the pieces preserve the complete organism, the carving helps to suggest the original shape of the animal.

Available in three models:

Heart: approx. 16.5 x 16.5 x 2 cm.

Spiral: about 16.5 x 14 x 2 cm.

Oval: around 16.5 x 14 x 2 cm.

Artisanal product from Morocco. Due to the natural origin and handmade nature of each item, veins, irregularities, cracks or variations in shape and colour may be present, adding character and uniqueness to every piece.
