This lot contains approximately 200 grams of heliotrope tumbled stones, with 12 to 15 pieces per bag. Each stone measures around 2 to 3 cm on average.
Heliotrope, also known as bloodstone, is a microcrystalline variety of chalcedony composed mainly of silicon dioxide with iron oxides and chlorite. This material represents a transition between opaque jasper and more translucent chalcedony, and is recognised by its scattered blood-red inclusions of haematite over a greenish-grey base. Some pieces may display golden spots, possibly due to metallic inclusions such as pyrite.

In the esoteric field, heliotrope is valued as a stone of vitality and balance, associated with the root chakra and used in energy practices for its reputed ability to strengthen willpower and purify the energetic field.
