Composition and geological characteristics:
Septarian is a nodular formation composed of a limestone, clay, and limonite matrix, whose internal cracks or septa are naturally filled with yellow calcite and aragonite. The arrangement of these fillings creates angular patterns and geometric veins that vary widely in each unit, so no two specimens are identical. These pieces are valued in collecting and decoration as well as in meditation and feng shui disciplines for their traditional connection to ancestral energy.
