Black tourmaline incrusted in a quartz matrix.

This spectacular rough piece consists of a large bar of black tourmaline among other adjacent smaller ones incrusted in a quartz matrix. In addition, small mica formations can be observed.

Origin: Brazil.

Approximate measurements: 22 cm x 22 cm x 10 cm and weighs about 5.9 kilograms.

It is a piece in this rough, and given its nature to handle it, pieces of quartz and tourmaline can be detached without altering their qualities.
