Appearance and crystal distribution
The crystallised surface is composed of small-sized crystals, with a predominant lavender coloration and violet undertones that vary depending on light incidence. The front shows a concave curvature with a more pronounced opening on one side.
The basalt matrix remains visible on the back and sides, showing the original volcanic rock on which the amethyst growth has developed.
