Japa Mala of Bian Stone or Bianshi with OM symbol.

Japa Mala is used for intonation of mantras and meditation. Its origin is in Hinduism and Buddhism.

These Buddhist rosaries possess 108 beads, which symbolize the 108 shepherds who accompany the God Krishna, represented by the bead of the Guru, which is the largest ball and symbolizes the beginning and end of the Japa Mala.

This Japa Mala, made of Bian stone, with a beautiful satin tone that gives it a unique look, has a red tassel of thread, from which hangs a pendant with the symbol OM.

It comes in two sizes:

  • 6 mm beads, with a weight of about 35 g and a total length of 62 cm. Without the tassel.
  • 8 mm beads, with a weight of approx. 75 gr and a total length of 80 cm. Without the tassel.

The Bian Stone or Bianshi is considered in traditional Chinese medicine as a therapeutic stone to treat various pains. It is said that treatment with the Bian Stone gave rise to acupuncture.
